Finger breathingTrace the outline of your dominant hand with your pointer finger from your other hand. When you are tracing up your finger, breathe in through your nose. When you tracing down your finger, breathe through your mouth.

abc around the roomLook around the room or space you are in. Find one thing that begins with each letter of the alphabet. Start with "a" and work all the way to "z."

leaves on a streamPicture a stream with leaves floating in it. Take each thought that comes to your mind and place it on the leaves one at a time. Allow the thoughts to float away with the stream.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1Look around and take a note of 5 things you can see, 4 things you can feel, 3, things you can hear, and 2 things you can smell, and then pick one thing you like about yourself.

countdownStarting at 900, count down backwards as long as needed. It may sound simple but it does the trick.
